450

the 450 would win on accelaration but the raptor should take it on top end

i dunno... i agree with 450 would smoke it on acceleration, but i dont know who holds there bike WOT in 5th gear for a long time wrapped all the way out for long enough for the raptor to catch up...

450r smokes every kind of raptor, look at this video <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EU76SaP3b44"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EU76SaP3b44" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

the 450 is way faster, i have a raptor 686 with some mods on it and i have raced hundreds off times, when my raptor was stock the 450 could win me pretty much

Hmm, I guess, I think it'd be pretty close, when my rappy was stock, vs my bud's LTR w/ full trinity setup, he'd pull on me end of 3rd and then 4th and 5th, but I kept up w/ him on the shoot out. but its a close matchup.

The 450 is lighter and can prouduce around the same stock horsepower as the Rappy. As long as he hits his shifts well (and it's more important to on a 450 cuz his power band is much narrower than the Rappy's) he is likely to beat the Rappy. He's also a little lower, which will help with drag due to wind, the primary limit at high speed when on a smooth flat surface.

It's always going to depend upon the venue, the rider's skill, and some luck.

rider skill is what really determins who would win also what surface you are racing on and who can get a better launch yes in all actuallity a 450R should beat a 660R if the rider is skilled enough to know how to run it to peak performance but ive smoked a couple 450's when the rider had no f-ing clue what he was doing on it but in the end it comes to skill and knowing your machine
