525 SRA LOOKS LIKE A GOOD CHOICE BUT THE GRAPHICS AND COLORS ARE SO UGLY ON ALL OF THEM!

Posted by: OutlawBill

The white looks good + last year black will fit.

i love the new colour of them. I really like that new 450

Posted by: quadman 05400ex

the mxr 450 is more race ready then the ltr 450

I don't think they will sell many 450 because for the same price you can get a 525. Just like with the 500 and 525 only with them it was a $300 upgrade. Now it will be worse so you will be able to get a 450 cheap about this time next year.

If you like SRA you pick the 450 for MX and the 525 for every thing else. The 450 is lighter and has better front shocks. If you want more power just drop in a KTM big bore kit.

THE MAGAZINES WILL NOW HAVE TO DEDICATE A WHOLE ISSUE JUST DOING A 450 SHOOTOUT!

I'LL STICK WITH MY IRS.

So the 07's 525 Black plastics will fit the 08 outlaw 525 IRS

I HOPE SO, BECAUSE ONCE YOU GO BLACK YOU CANT GO BACK......

looks like polaris just took a big ole dump in lappy's bowl of cherrio's.....looks like there is gonna be a lot of depressed raptor owners at the dunes now

Posted by: 525 Outlaw Dude

i'm not a real fan of red & white, and black looks so much more intimidating to other riders when they see us come over the hill, if i do diside to get another 525 IRS it better be able to have the 07's black plastics on it or elso "lol"

what makes you say that? just wondering. I thought they were pretty similar besides the Polaris having the hydro clutch. Then the popo/KTM has the FCR carb while the LTR being fuel injected, but both those setups have potential to haul a**.

the 3.9 gal fuel tank makes it perfect for the MX track, not.

What is the problem with the 3.9 gal gas tank?

Posted by: terko440

I thought it was big too, but who says you have to fill it? If your a racer you know by now you keep bare mimimum in the tank.

whats up with that/ its still a popo with a ktm motor we all know it will have probs.Oh i mean preproduction but then you guys can say the mags are picking on popo

weird since polaris first released this quad the weight is consistantly dropping. It started off at 378, now its 365. It should be a killer set up, the Kawi hasnt really shown me anything, same as the can am. The can am makes more HP than alot of the bikes at peak but not as quickly as say the 450r.

I would think the 46mm TB is the cause the other EFI quads use a 42mm TB

That 378 pounds came from Dirtwheels and we all know how Dirtwheels always has their facts right.
