Has anyone cut their back fenders to look alittlt more like race fenders instead of stock.

i would only cut my rear fenders for tt/flatrack, ice racing, or dragging. I dont think it looks good and i dont think i would cut it right and it would like even worse.

There really is no advantage to cutting them, they dont slow you down, and dont block your vision. I agree that they wouldnt look right trimmed becuase of the number plate area.

Actually cutting your rear fenders is high performance.... they give you a additional 0.0000000001mph. AHAH LOL

They cut them for hard close racing, TT racing & such. Those guys run inchs apart at 50 -60 mph and want to see exactly where their front tires are. Some people who don't race cut them because they like the racing look on their quad.

I am race cutting the back fenders on my quad. The guy I bought it from had like 3 sets of plastics and the one im cuttin the fenders are all cracked and "stitched" back together. The reason I am cuttin them is for freestyle, I find when tryin to attempt some moves I get hung up the rear fenders and it screws me up.

what do you mean "race cutting the rear fender"??
on front you shave them off- are you talking about shaving them all the way off on rear too??- surely not-
i was thinking of cutting on the bottom- kinda even with the front so they wouldn't hang down so far- it would be like a streight line from front to rear- is this what you are talking about

Race cut rear fenders have the bottom of the fenders cut off and some of the side trimmed. Look in a ATVsport or a 4 Wheel ATV Action mag at some of the TT/Flatrack racers quads and you will see.
