Heard from a good source that there it 525 IRS, 525 SRA, and 450SRA. All three should be released on 07/22/07.

Posted by: OutlawBill

If true that should cover the all forms of completion and personal preference. I will stay with the IRS I can ride longer with it.

Posted by: exracer416

i just hope they put them on a diet....

Posted by: rundrave

any word on the scrambler? did they get rid of it entirely or is it finally redesigned?

Posted by: bsieren

The 525's aren't heavy at all. I can easily pick up the front or the rear with one arm. 390lbs or 350lbs not a big enough difference in my book to even worry about. Unless you are trying to be superman and fly through the air. Ride it like you stole it and enjoy it.

Somebody posted pics of the new 450MXR on predatorowners.com a few minutes ago. I guess the pics come from dirtwheels magazine. Somebody leaked!!!!

make sure you save me one cause Im going to make the haul to by it from you guys, my dealer BLOWS!

Posted by: GE4x4

According to DW mag, the 450MXR will be 378lbs, but looks to have Maxxis Razr MX tires stock, so that will ad some weight compared to other stock quads, and still has reverse. The 525 will be 10lbs heavier at 388lbs.

Posted by: CHADHIX

Thanks Katch, You offically have the first one coming if you want it! LOL

Posted by: TYLER329

will somebody put the pictures up here or where is it on predator owners?

Posted by: GE4x4

Here it is

Posted by: TYLER329

is that the 450 or 525

Posted by: TYLER329

is there any more pictures?

Posted by: GE4x4

I would say the 450 as it has MX tires. That was the only pic I saw.

Posted by: OutlawBill

Fox Shocks

Posted by: 525 Outlaw Dude

thats awesome, will the 525 IRS be the same as the 07 or will they fix the problums and also will the 08 525 IRS have any added stuff or is it to early to tell yet

Posted by: SVTPete

That quad did not appear to have IRS at all. Very interesting they still called it an outlaw

Posted by: OutlawBill

Good move for Polaris now they will have a 450 for MX racing and the two 525's for GNCC and desert. One of the smart moves is that with the same basic frame and engine all the bolt on stuff should fit all three quads. All the after market guy have to add is a rear skid for the SRA Outlaws. Big question is are they going to have a Pro MX race team next year? I am still staying with the IRS I can ride longer.

Posted by: Teufel

Polaris will be presenting the 08's Sunday night at the dealer meeting in Nashville. Pics to follow

Posted by: rundrave

new models are on the polaris website now.

I am pumped for the sport quads and cant wait to see what they can do.

However I had my hopes up again for a redesigned scrambler and I got bold new graphics again this year woo hoo!

They need to put the SM800 motor in the scrammy!!

Posted by: nicker71

I like where polaris is headed with these 3 quads. Thats the 450 motor thats going in the KTM 450??

Posted by: N300exJ

Yup same KTM engine.

Posted by: georgedoggy

the 450 mx machine is another half hearted attempt by polaris. they call it a mx machine but dont make it 49" wide??? why buy this model when you could wait for the real thing? the KTM !!

or buy an ltr now !

I rode the 450 and 525s yesterday, they are sweet. In comparisson they are as good or better than anything out there.
The IRS is heavier but those who are concerned about it's ability to get some big air should talk to the guys at H-Bomb. They don't seem to have any problems........

yeah it comes 49" wide but how many people run stock a arms or axle?, and whos to say the KTM is 49 and if its not is it still the "real thing"?

Posted by: mrshoer

I guess I jumped the gun; Got tired of waiting on Polaris. Just recentley sold all my POPO rides that I had and went to the other side. Sorry fella's.

Jason

Posted by: flying dutchman

no the W-TEC is around 15.000euro's so that would be about 18 to 20K
the new eraser EVO is an awesome machine.
its winning most of the top events in europe now

Posted by: N300exJ

yup the only race ready quad you can buy is the ATK450 mx. That is until the KTM 450mx comes out. I dunno why people think the lt450r is so race ready its not even close. and it handles like crap on top of that.

Damn that is a pretty stupid comment. I own both a predator and an LTR. Stock for stock for the novice racer (which is most of us) the LTR is a very race ready bike and it actually handles very well. At my local track on my stock a armed ltr I can give some of the pro riders a run for there money.

Posted by: Speed

Hey SVTPete- this is Mike from the Riverfront track.
Wait till you throw a leg over the 450 MX- it rocks.
I need to get to the track soon so I'm in decent shape for Pismo.
I've been on the road for 31/2 weeks.
See you out there soon

what do you think is faster the ltr(hopefully stock?)or the predator(hopefully pure polaris exhaust)?

Posted by: GE4x4

I found this pic surprising. The Outlaw 450/KFX450

Posted by: chrisrzz1012

I rode a 525 outlaw and rode and almost bought a polaris predator/ktm 450 about 2 years ago. I hope they are better then the predator.

Posted by: N300exJ

360lbs VS 380lbs makes that pic about right.

Posted by: 525 Outlaw Dude

what are they thinking when they did that, it doesent madder if the KFX weighed less than the Outlaw450 it will still kick its *** in performance. Even the other 450's

Posted by: Evasiveone

LOL,

Oultaw dude you need to brush up on your physics. The heavier machine will be down and the lighter machine will be in the air. In that picture they are showing the Outlaw 450 is lighter than the KFX450.

Posted by: curley

Sharp as a bowling ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: OzLinc

Ahhhh.....he's all right......just a brain fart. We all do it now and again.

and I like the photo, goes to show you dont have to be all alloy to be light.

Linc

Posted by: 525 Outlaw Dude

alright i screwd up on that one, i finally got it. I dont even know why i thought of the picture that way i got really good grades in science

Posted by: TYLER329

ALL OF YOU IDIOTS MISSED THE TRUE MEANING OF THAT DISPLAY. POLARIS WAS REALLY TRYING TO SAY THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SPONSER A POLARIS RIDER IN THE 2008 NATIONAL TEETER TOTTER CHAMPIONSHIPS, LET THE DOMONATION BEGIN!
