haha well since i have two race bikes and neither have stock motors im not paying 8 bucks a gallon to dilly jack around on my little practice track so out with the track in with new jumps and stuff thatll be fun like making my landing twice as wide and a foot taller was the start, im almost done with a dirt super kicker at a 30 foot gap, took out the whoops and making the doubles longer and taller, and best of all the good ole 400ex can clear my ramp now at 55 feet easy
which was the whole point now that my ramp is coming out of the berm you can carry your speed and better and dont have to worry about the run being to short. cant wait to ride sunday.
here is a view of the landing from the front. i measured 18 feet wide at the top.
Posted by: Rootar
the big landing dwarfs my ramp now
guess i need a bigger ramp now?
i got enough room for a second ramp now
Posted by: Rootar
the dirt super kicker i started on tonight after dark. its got a ways to go before i would call it done, but dang is it gonna be steep. pic doesnt really do much justice to how steep it is gonna be. 30 foot gap on it and its gonna put you way up there (its gonna have to, to get you over the 9 foot tall landing) for being 6 feet tall
its 6 feet tall in this pic but the shape isnt how i want it should be fun when i get done

thats sick... your so lucky you have it all... 2 sick hybrids, a ramp, property and machinery

yea its nice but i work 50+ hours a week plus all the stuff around the house, only time i can work on my track is after dark when im done working for the day, im eating breakfast right now hopefully ill be done with work by eight tonight and i might get to work on the super kicker in the last bit of sunlight some so i can see it better. you think of anything else i should add to the set up besides what i have now, my ramp- dirt super kicker- landing wide enough for both- took out the whoops and made the doubles coming back to the berm both longer and taller (i gotta remeber to trim the limbs some more above them, dont want that to happen agian)- then you got the berm

Cant wait to get home and practice the whip. Im in Oklahoma right now at my dads house. Ill be back on the 1st

Posted by: whiteEX
wow those jumps and landings are pretty sick i wish i could build like that
Posted by: Rootar
here is a pic of the kicker im gonna work on it some more tomorrow i still think it needs to be taller and steeper what you guys think???
Posted by: TWISTED DINLI
yea it probly needs a bit taller.
Posted by: TWISTED DINLI
looks good though.
Posted by: whiteEX
maybe a bit taller and a lil bit wider yet it looks pretty good keep us posted
Posted by: Rootar

Looks frekin' awesome man!
Posted by: Rootar
60 foot stepup i finished up today also
pic 1
Posted by: Rootar
pic 2 of the stepup looks like a good size jump to me i jsut dunno if the 400 has enough motor i might have to make it a lil shorter distance if i dont make it on tuesday when i try it out.
Posted by: Rootar
maybe itll work now
pic 1
Posted by: Rootar
just 40 foot double, its bigger than it looks i guess me rounding over the back of the landing makes it look alot smaller. the take off is 4 feet high.
Posted by: Rootar
there is the take off of the 40 foot double on the right, the 30 double is behind the 400ex, and of course there is the ramp and kicker
Posted by: Rootar
jsut another shot
Posted by: TWISTED DINLI
dude it looks awesome. very kewl.

Yo Rootar where in Arkansas are you? I'm in Fayetteville.
Posted by: TWISTED DINLI
did you like dig into the ground to get all that dirt because in that last pic it looks like the track is dug down into the ground. looks cool though, very nice.
Posted by: Rootar
i live near Bluff city, AR or near whtie oak lake which ever you can find on the map lol. its about 2 hours below littlerock.
TWISTED DINLI - the track is not down in the ground its built on the low end of our pasture and i leveled of that area and used the dirt yes

That tracks badass man. Have u hit the dirt kicker or the 60' uphill?
Posted by: Dirtboys
dude you should get some videos of you hitting that jump that would be pretty sick
Posted by: Rootar
never hit the dirt kicker it got messed up from rain and it was holding water and made me mad so i tore it down and im using the dirt to make more jumps
i prolly would have got jacked up if i hit it. the 60 foot uphill hits like crap with the XC shocks on the 400 i kept framing out but it should be fine on my hybrid. ill build the landing up 2 feet taller and mellow out the take off even more and it should be good. ill put some videos up of what im talking about soon

Just a reminder.. u have to hit uphill jumps a lot harder. They are decieving. I made an 80' one on my track n didnt hit it hard enough.. broke my femur.

haha yea i cleared it fine, i gave it all the poor ole 400 had lol the XC shocks on there are setup REALLY soft and they framed out on that smooth long take off (i dunno how) but it would rebound off and send the nose for the sky, only way i could counter it was leaning back and then brake checking really hard to level out. im switching shocks on it when i get home (im in mississippi working) and that should take care of the problem because that is the smoothest and long take off i have out there.
oh and you build up hill jumps so you can over shoot them a lil to make sure you clear them the first hit
youll be back out off the broke femur in a few months or less no worries just click one more gear next time

Damn ross looks like you been busy. i need to get some new pics of my set up, but yours is pretty bad ***.
