i got a full exhaust cuming in and i took off the old header and started it up wit out a head pipe to c wat it would do i know it was stupid but did i harm it anyway please reply quickly

who knows what was done... that was really stupid!

mount your header and silencer back on and start it up and see if it runs ok...

If you just started it and shut it off chances are you're fine but if your rode it around you could have some problems, but its not really a smart idea

when i had my header off i kicked it once real easy, and not enough to start it, but it made a plop noise, like a quarter dropped in the water, could that screw something up? cause my bike has been running bad lately, and dont say cause its a honda, have had good experiences with both yamaha and honda.

A buddy of mine raced almost two laps of an XC race with no headpipe. It doesn't seem to have hurt anything. I would have guessed that it would have hurt the exhaust valves at least but the bike runs fine with the new headpipe installed.

ya man i do that all the time in my trail boss and it runs fine it just keeps going and going like the energizer bunny. dont worry just give it a kick and it should start up

Running it without the head pipe will lean the jetting out considerably but if you just started it up and shut it off you will be fine, it would not have been running long enough to do any damage.
