PVL failer??

I have a PVL complet system no spark the last time i run is when the piston sleeve warped and seized and just got it back together today (sat for 4 months) so the first thing i do is pull plug out to see if i have spark befor kicking my +ss off and no spark is ther a way to test this on a ohm meter.
