I am looking for photos and info and what you think and I did a search but the photos do not work, post are to old!
about putting 400ex front plastic on a 300ex or 250x and use ing the stock 300ex seat and rear fenders!!

I bot some 400ex front fender put them on
a little cutting and some works and bolts
they are on
stock 300ex seat and rear fenders

a little more work to do to them
it was only $60 for the fender so I said why not

youve got 400ex lights on it too? if so i'd like to know how to do that because i want the 400 ex plastics for my 300 but ive been wanting those lights don't know how to convert everything.

i just bought a set of 400ex plastics gonna put em on my 01 300ex cant wait ur bike looks great with them =]

the 400ex lights bolt in the fender and you just wire the 3 400ex headlight wires to the 3 300ex headlight wires they are the same colors

Here is my 1999 300ex with 400ex Maier racing plastic. The front fits pretty good for the exception of the fuel on/off lever cutout. The back fits ok although the seat is wider so the fit is not as tight.
