Is anyone blowing head gaskets? My neighbors 06 Pred 90 has blown 3 head gaskets in the last 3 races. Any suggestions?

Check the surfaces of the head and cylinder. Make sure they are flat and clean. Also, are they blowing aluminum or copper gaskets? The copper usually holds up better. Also check to make sure the nuts aren't bottoming out on the threads. Torque them to the reccomended torque. I think it is 14lbs/ft. in the shop manual. Lubricate the threads before torqueing.
