I have a CT/Pro-X 330 big bore. I already have a Keihn 38mm carb and older style V-Force reeds.

What is the best carb and reeds to have the most power for top end and cross-country? Also, I have a ESR TRX5 Centermount pipe and K&N intake with no airbox.

Thanks for the info!!

i ran a 39 pwk on my 310 ...it ripped....but easy to over rev .....not a big fan of v force.seems to have mid range only....just got esr 350pv...gonna try his reed block

I was looking at the ESR 40.5mm carb. Anybody used this carb?
Sounds like a really nice carb..........

I'd keep the 38 for XC. I run a 39 PWK & V-force reeds with a 1/4" spacer on my 265 PV for MX, and it works extremely well. Try a reed spacer for a little smoother power/acceleration. I'd also ditch the centermount and get the regular style pipe with an airbox.. you're gonna want an airbox for XC man.

over the years i've ran a multitued of reed cages and reeds with about as many different type/sizes of carbs and i'm real particular with the 38mm pwk and the rad valve(old style or new) that combo along with the ESR5 pipe will go well.
