it has 400ex aarms on it there just a little moded so the front end would sit lower. i have spacers in the front so my quad is 50'' wide but without them its like 47 1/2 i think?

Thanks alot. I have put A LOT of time into her and I still love riding it even tho I have a 450r. It was my first quad that built and I built it how i wanted! Not how my pocket wanted to...lol.

Yeah my pocket isn't liking the way I am fixin mine either. Oh well I guess its what I want that matters LOL. Both your 300 and ur 450r are nice.

haha. I work for a hardscaping company. I drive a forklift. Been doing it for about 3 years now. I work 45-50 hours a week. Keeps me busy!

Mainly for looks. Some claim the wind has less effect on the quad when jumping. I doubt it will have too much effect on top speed though.

Mainly to give it a racing style look. Also, ive HEARD that you gain like 1-2 MPH due to less wind resistance. But i truly do not know. Mine are shaved because i think it looks much cooler than unshaved lol...

as far as teh fenders go its pretty much all preference i like to see my a-arms and tires and shocks and what they are doing and on the other hand i also like to have some coverage but you cant witn them all i prefer cut fenders

They are actually 1994 Front Fenders, with the maier 250r hood =]. Also, they are 04 450r Shocks picked them up for $75 Brand new. But, the bike is for sale right now.

I am selling a quad I built from ground up. It is either a 250x or 300ex frame with a built 350x motor. It has a Wiseco 10:1 piston, Web cam, 400ex carb, new clutches, 400ex a arms, shock adapter to run 400ex length shocks, 4" extended swing arm, G Force +2 +4 extended axle, Rad dual row carrier, steering stabilizer, 450r kill switch, new grips and bars, nerf bars, AC bumper, DG grab bar, PowRoll headpipe with FMF Megamax II muffler, Brand new Hiper CF1 Beadlock rims with brand new ITP GNCC tires, Elka Shocks, 2001 raptor rear shock, swing arm skid, chassis skid, stainless tie rods, frame, swing arm and a arms were just powder coated black. Plastic is Maier orange shiny. I have not even rode it since I put it back together today. Engine has 12 hours at the most on rebuild. Everything on this quad has 12 hours or less on it. The steering stabilizer is also brand new, new bearings through out. Brake components and arms were off of a low hour 2005 400ex. Quad runs very strong and is set up to race woods. Plastics are like new as well. I just had a new gripper seat cover put on Monday. I will get pics posted tomorrow. Will not be disappointed.
Starts 1-2 kicks every time. The head was also gone through.
