I have some mods done to my quad and once I get it jetted right I was wondering how it will compete with the LTZ400, and other stock 400 and the 450s. Look below to see all the mods. That is all I have so far. Plus what will make my quad pull harder besides a CDI box? Also what gearing would you recommend?

yeah im with him. im cousins a pretty desent rider and had a 400 with a slip on pipe and CDI box and was able to keep up with 450s alot of the time.

you can definatly smoke a 400 and you should be able to pull away on a stock 450

when i run 13/38 sprockets your neck and neck till 4th then you have to retire, you don't have the compression/displacement like a yfz 450, stay in your class or you'll get hurt sissy !

thats pretty lame!

I duno man the 450s are fast I race a piped one all the time and he smokes me pretty good! were close to mods but your running higher comp. and a little bigger bore.

What kinda compression are you running? And what type of gas do you use? I was told with running 12.5:1 Compression to run at least a 105 but I am running a 110.
