not sure if i posted in the right plat but i can't get the cover off i removed the 8mm bolts around it but it seems to stuck by the water pump side the rest seems to be loose am i missing something i am pretty new to this stuff but it's leaked a little bit and i need to fix that help would be appreciated

Need to remove the water pump. There's another bolt behind it.

thanks for the link very handy but after i posted i went back and figured out there was a bolt behind the water pump i have one more question instead of using a gasket can a guy just use high temp silicone gasket maker?and thanks for the reply and you have been helpful great site cheers.

put a gasket on there.
