I strictly ride MX, and was wondering what pro-peg nerfs to get

AC-- the ones that Doug Gust uses
Blingstar-- Dana Creech super peg
ProArmour-- fatpeg w/ heelguards (Joe Byrd)

keep in mind that I will prob make the bumper and rear grab bar the same brand as the nerfs

Posted by: culichi

I have the proarmorr and i like em alot but they get really dirty, if i were you i would get the ims but its kinda expensive thats why i didnt bought it

Posted by: ProjectLTR450

look at the rath ones there really nice

Posted by: CDALEMX301

I have the BS DC and ridden on them about 4x these things are awesome move around on the bike as much as you want and you arent slipping on the pegs

raths are nice but i the heel gaurds break like they are plastic

My fender brackets are awsome, no problems with them.

Well I am concerned about the no heel guards on the blingstars. I have never rode a quad w/o the heel guards. how important are they? is there a big gap for your feet on the LTR? since I don't actually have it yet. I have to sell my 450r first

Posted by: culichi

IF YOU RIDE WITH NO HEELGUARDS THERES A HUGE GAP BETWEEN YOUR FEET AND THE TIRE!!

Posted by: WORCSYFZ199

yeah you will definitley want to run heel gaurds on the LTR! On YFZ and TRX they are pretty much optional and in fact since they were small on those quads the heel gaurds hindered my comfort and riding (I have size 12 boots) so I simply ran without them on the YFZ with no problems, and it also worked on my brother's TRX but for the LTR if you don't run heel gaurds, the gap is huuuuuge, they are pretty much a must, and also since they are bigger they don't interfere with my foot placement unlike the other quads, I have the IMS-Roll set-up but not the pro-pegs I have the seperate pegs and nerfs and heelguards all bolted together and it's a solid set-up :-)

i guess i just was riding to hard..lol

Posted by: Trx250rider86

anyone else have problems with rath heel guards cracking, mine cracked in several places and one wrapped around my axle during a race, good thing it was on the finish line jump lol

Posted by: DEVINF450R

so if I buy the blingstar dana creech ones...can I put the blingstar heel guard on them?

Posted by: xwarriorx

well this year doug gust is running pro aluminum nerf bars with the netting heel guards.

Posted by: DEVINF450R

I thought Rath was the only ones with netted heel-gurads

thats way cheaper than off the AC site.

Posted by: DEVINF450R

if I go with AC's I will get the ones that have the high heelguard....I kinda like those. I REALLY want the blingstars though. I had some bad luck with AC's design

no chad weinen is because of a pre existing sponsorship but the rest of the team has bumpers and nerf bars from pro aluminum

Posted by: ingleful
