has anybody heard what or if polaris is making inprovements to the outlaw 525 yet, just wondering because my dealer said something about the meeting about the new models was in july, and i plan on haveing two. One for dunes and trials & one for racing in local events in oregon plus also washington

There will be a Outlaw 450, and I believe Outlaw owners will be bumming with a bunch on new changes that are rumored for 08. Which doesn't suprise me with the way they screwed me by hyping up the 500, then just 6 months later they put the 525 in it. The value of the 500 fell right through the floor. I can see owners being quite upset once the 08's are anounced.

I think the dealer show is July 18 we should know then. If there are major changes to the 08 525 I will be happy if I can bolt them on too my 07.

ya i bet there are going to be some bad *** changes to the polaris line up through there 4+4 plus there sport line, and skrew the 450 the outlaw 525 i bet will still eat anything out there including the new can-am DS450, and what ever else that gets in its way. and i like my 525 but if there are any insane changes the polaris does to the 08 outlaw 525 i going ahead and buying another since i have the extra money

thats no suprise to me, but theres still going to be the outlaw 525 right, and the only thing i want to know is what the changes to the outlaw 525 will be like new supension with rebound and compression dampning and the wheel rubbing problum and also the oil leak after riding when breaking in the 525 motor, or will they just fine tune the beast

Lappy and many other Raptor owners I swear are the most insecure group or owners I have ever seen. You go through any of the other forums and see very very little bashing. Yet any and all Raptor forums are just full of putting other quads down. Are you guys that insecure about your ride that you need to bash others to make you feel good. I had a Raptor and they are nice, but was emberrassed to be part of there forums on how they feel that there quad is so superior to the rest. It's not all Raptor owners as some are cool to deal with. But most have some kind of complex problem. It must be that all these quads of nearly 200cc less give them a run for there money and even beat them, like the 525. It's like on the Raptor forum, a Raptor owner says he wasn't impressed with the 525 as his 3 mod Raptor beat it in all but one race, and the 525 was stock. Ya, real impressive. You beat a stock 510cc quad with a 686cc quad with the 3 mods and 15 tooth sprocket. Ya I would feel real good about that. You guys need to grow up.

There will be a 450 with a KTM in it. That is a done deal. IMHO it will be set up like the KTM450, but will less of the goodies to keep price down, and compatition with KTM.

Like I said before, not all Raptor owners. There are a few out there worth talking to.
