I'm curious how long does it take a 400ex to go from 0 - top speed i mean i realize rider comes into play but lets just say an agressive average weighted rider also how long does it take a z400 and say a yfz

id say 5-7 seconds for the ex, the others dont know the z would be close if not a tad faster..

I think 5.3 seconds is the 0-60 range.

Setup... stock 400EX. Dynojet stage 1. K&N filter. HMF slipon.

straight shot for a 1/4 mile flat packed dirt/grass. Traction isn't an issue here. Stock gearing... take a guess at what my top speed is?

Im not skilled enought to shift that fast ...to max out my speed it takes me 10-12 secs...at least that is my comfort level. I can only go wide open in that situation listed above...i just wonder how fast im going.

i'd say you would be at about 70mph thats what my ex was when i had a setup like that
