In atvrider's interview with KTM's new factory rider Tim Farr at the GNCC Snowshoe race he says there thinking that the new KTM 525XC and assuming also 450XC maybe will be released to the public around September!!! I have already talked to my local ktm dealer and they said that they have not really heard anything about the new ktm quads (info., price, or release date). So, hopefully september will be here soon because I want one!!!

Talking to my local friendly KTM dealer today, he said the fall dealer meeting sometime in August is when the dealers will find out the skinny. Availibilty, price, models, dimensions..........

if I did buy any new quad, it might be that one, but definety not a first or second year model. The crop of 450's out there don't give me the feeling my 250r's do.

a friend was told today by the local ktm dealer that the xc and 450 mx will be out the second week in august

I'm dying for the mx to come out, i'm selling my race bike at the end of this year and if the mx doesn't come out i'm leaning towards honda... i really don't wanna lean that way either

dealer meeting is in august select dealers will have a chance at one 525xc (august) retail price is 8999.00. dealers that attend will get allotments at time of meeting. second wave of quads is set for october/november the 450/525 xc will be released first as 08's and the 450mx will be 09. this is the current word. go to your dealer now and give them a deposit if you want to get one (this year) they will sell out!

is there a specific amount that you have to give as a deposit?

that is completely up to your local dealer. usually 100-500$ or 10% every shop is different im sure
