I got a new baldwin pipe today and it didnt come with a clamp to clamp the muffler to the headpipe.. did they forget or do i not need it??

it should just slip right on, i know with my rossier he said get some high temp silicone(gold tube, gold silicone) and put on and let it dry, is the exhaust just a 2 piece or 3 piece???

It could just slip on, but if you aren't sure just call Baldwin and ask.

Its their new three peice system, the midpipe is pulled to the muffler by springs and the headpipe slides into the midpipe, but the midpipe has little slot like its made to close onto the headpipe.

I was gonna call baldwin but they are at the wpsa this weekend, and im wanting to ride tomorrow.

slip it in and put it on and run it if it leaks there put silicon on if not ride the piss out of it they should include instructions guess not with urs

well i put it on and put the jets in they gave me, seems to run fine, how would i know if there is a leak?

If possible while it's running, stick your hand down there and rev it to see if you feel any air (exhaust) coming out. If not then you should be ok. I would still give them a call Monday to ask however.

Put up some pics of the new exhaust if you can. I saw it on their site and that is a very nice looking piece.
