Will I ruin my kfx if I run some race gas in it? The engine is stock, I have a full yoshi trs exhaust, with k&n filter. Its jetted with a EHS racing air box lid.

not at all, the higher the octane gas the more power the motor will make and the cleaner it will run with less impurities in the gas. running cheap gas could possibly harm a high compression motor in the long run but race gas is good stuff!

i run nothing but race bas in my kfx... no problems. and smells good too

you dont really need to run race fuel with out a high compression piston, smell good but it dosent mean it runs any better. and yes running cheap gas is not good for a high comp engine

not true. i could explain why high octane gas is needed in high come engine but it will take too long.

you dont need race gas unless you have a high comp piston usually 13.1 or higher. lower comp than that you can run 50/50 and on a stocker i would just run 93 octane and save some money. i have the gust motor in mine so i have to run race gas but i wish i didnt because its 6 dollars a gallon. i have heard that is does burn cleaner though, havent seen any real proof bu it is suppoees to.

here in Portugal we just have 95 and 98 gasoline... we allready had a special 100 gasoline but it was a little expensive...i had always put 100 gasoline and when it disappeared i passed to 98... what type is race gas? just for curiosity, generally how much cust a gallon? in Portugal gasoline is expensive, like 5 dollars/gallon...
