i have tryed jetting all around. moving the C clip on the needle. screwing the air screw in and out. and i just put new clutch plates in it. 5th gear still runs horrible. as soon as i shift in it slips like the clutch is slipping. fast or slow in 5th gear dosnt matter. ive only had a yamaha for a few months and im ready to go back to honda. if anyone has any ideas as to what it may be let me know.

to much oil its un like the hondas the oil goes to everything instead of having seprate motor and gear so check the oil level mabe? just a thought

on my friends blaster there was to much oil in it and the clutch was sliping and he couldnt evin move it

Jetting wouldn't make the bike slip or for that matter fix the slipping problem. If your clutches were slipping it would more than likely do it in all gears, not just fifth alone. I'm thinking it may be your tranny
