I have an 06' predator, i run Klotz Techniplate 4 stroke oil @ 15w/50 weight. When it idles it's fine but when you give it throtle the o-ring seal rolls over and blows oil out. Anyone have any idea why this happens.

It blows oil out of where?

Oil spews out between the crank case and the cover. for some reason the o-ring seal doesnt hold.

The O-ring is to be replaced on each oil change. It is a crunch to fit once it is compressed it does not spring back.

Ok, i already replaced the gasket, and it still spews oil, but when i take the filter out it's fine. I put a new filter in and it still leaks. Any idea about that?

Could you possibly have the filter in backwards? Been awhile since I had my predator but I think it is possible and that might cause your oil to dead head in the filter housing.

I guess it's possible, I'll try switching it around and see what happens. Thanks for the info!
