hello all, still waiting on polaris, however, 6 dealers in my area, called all that were open on mondays, down to 5, offered my brand new 11 day old, with 2 hours on new 525 outlaw with 6 full months of coverage to them for my payoff, ($3038.00)1 is closed mondays, the 1 i bought it from wont call me back, 3 dealers arent interested and the only one who seemed to care, said he would try to sell it to one of his customers for me, 3000.00 and i just bought the piece o s for 7400.00 if polaris doesnt give me a new quad, you will probably see me on one for them!!!!!! i will not buy another polaris product if someone doesnt step up from corporate pretty quick! chad snyder 7654742029 crounpoint@gmail.com i:e read "im done" and "leaky 525" subjects if you havent been followiing my news coverage, going with live video feed of me reporting on polaris on youtube.com next seriously considering doing a youtube bit on customer satisfaction on the 525, probably get me somewhere?

do it or get on that thread from outlaw 50 re: contacting the goverment agency in charge of it. The key is do something just dont talk about doing something.

It may be time to go get the local media in the mix nothing like bad press to get the dealer off there seat to fix your quad.

I would just inform Polaris of what youre trying to do with letter, or emails and document everything. Also another owner had luck by filling out the online survey repeatedly until someone contacted him. That way theres no way they can say they didnt know, or this is the first we've heard of this. I sent them email before and never got any response.

Also if I were you I wouldnt settle for anything less than at least blue book.....if youre really unhappy get it fixed and sell it but dont settle

Am I the only one confused by all your ranting?

As of Saturday you have not even taken the bike to the dealer to give them a chance to fix it.

I am sure you are upset that it leaked in the first place but you have to give them an opportunity to get their hands on the quad and a chance for them to fix it.

Why would anybody be willing to sell a quad for half the money they have in it when they have not even given the dealer the opportunity to fix the problem. Especially something as simple as a bolt leaking oil.

THIS IS A JUNK CASE, THEREFORE, IT WILL NEED A NEW ENGINE CASE OR A NEW QUAD, THE CASE IS JUNK, I HAVE HAD 2, COUNT THEM, 2 KTM DEALERS TELL ME IT IS A BAD CASE, I AM FOR THE 11TH TIME WAITING ON POLARIS CORPORATE TO TELL ME AND MY DEALER WHATS UP, AS FAR AS WHAT POLARIS DEALER IS SAYING, THEY WERE STATING WHEN I ASKED THEM THAT THEY WOULD PROBABLY YAMABOND THE BOLT, FOR YOU EVASIVE PEOPLE, THATS A LIQUID GASKET, NOT ACCEPTABLE, ITS A FREGGIN BAND AID THAT ISNT CORRECTING THE PROBLEM, JUST COVERING IT UP. SO THAT IS WHAT IM DOING AS OF RIGHT NOW. WHY SHOULD I TAKE IT 60 MILES AWAY FOR IT TO SIT, OR WORSE , GET GLUED SHUT AND GIVEN BACK. FOR ABOUT THE 4TH TIME, SEE , WHEN KTM DESIGNED THIS ENGINE THEY DIDNT PLAN ON OIL GETTING PAST THE THREADS IN THE BOLT CASE OR THEY WOULD HAVE PUT A COPPER WASHER BEHIND THE BOLT HEAD! THE 525 HAS NO WASHERS ON ITS BOLTS THEREFORE, SOMETHING IS F'D UP INSIDE OR ON THE OUTSIDE OR IN THE THREADING FOR THIS SAID BOLT I:E A PROBLEM, AND JUST CAUSE YOUR NOT SO SMART THAT YOU WOULD BE HAPPY WITH A RUBBER CEMENT BAND AID ON YOUR NEW KTM POWERED OILLAW, IIM NOT !ITS NOT A SIMPLE LOOSE BOLT GENIUS, ITS A F$%#ED UP CASE, WHICH AGAIN , IM WAITING FOR CORPORATES ANSWER, UNDERSTAND? OH YA, IM THAT DISSAPPOINTED, THATS WHY I JUST WOULD RATHER FORGET I BOUGHT THE POS AND START SAVING AGAIN FOR A YAMAHA OR HONDA.....I ALSO CONTACTED THE BBB ON POLARIS CORPORATE AND INDY POWER SPORTS IN WHITESTOWN INDIANA

i'll post some pics, just got off the phone with tom tillers secretary at polaris, hes the c.e.o, hopefully this wheel is just about to get the grease! if this doesnt work then look out insurance fraud, here i come(joke dude, joke, way way joke!!) no really though, didnt tell em about the leak, but i did find a yamaha dealer that said he would give me 5000.00 for it, dont know how intense the trade in inspection will be, but im considering trying it? just going to wait on polaris? hopefully i will get someones attention in corporate? 30 minutes and just got my call from Marlys Knutson! (big wig polaris corporate) shes playing my message for tech dept tomorrow morning, hope to hear from them with the quickness, will keep you posted! hopefully soon, I'll be off here and out of you guys lives and back on the trail!

chad, i agree with bill, maybe get the local media into it. honestly, i would be pretty pissed off to if the dealer i bought it from did'nt call me back either. i know it sucks big time, but like evasivone said, let polaris get there hands on it first before you sell it for half than what u payed for it. but honestly, looking back on all your forums about the leak ( not the wheel rubbing) i would feel the same way as you do right now. i wish u luck my friend
