Wiring a nuetral light

I have an 04 TRX 450R with aftermarket bars. When I bought it, there was no nuetral light. I am sick of always guessing if I am in nuetral or not, so I need to rig up a light. Anybody ever do this, and can you give me some insight on how to go about doing it?
