Looks make performance too, like the colors blue purple and red add 5 horsepower at the crank

I may be new to ATVs but I race nirto RCs with the pros and suspension geomitry and good rubber is everything, looks are either a plus or minus and shouldnt sway your decision.If you want looks buy a six cylinder mustang

Agree. IMHO once you do the normal changes to the asthetics (remove headlights, trim fenders, etc..) it is IMHO the best looking of the 450's.

No bias here.. I ride a fugly 300ex.. lol.

My personal rankings would be (purely based on asthetics, no performace considerations):
#1 DS450
#2 LTR450
#3 YZF450
#4 TRX450
#5 KTM450/525
#6 KFX450

Again based purely on looks after removing stock lights, adding hood, and trimming the fenders for MX.

Yeah I heard the pictures dont do it justice. I hear it sits like a YFZ. Sure doesnt look like it though does it..

When they did the photoshoot, for some reason someone decided to lift up the front end which gave it an odd stance. I heard from one of the magazine writers that was there that it really sits nice and low like any other MX quad.

IMO.... The only thing that looks terribly ugly is the radiator gaurd.. If that was gone, it would look good.

I have to say the new ktm looks the best, stock, since 450's started comming out.
