A local guy is selling his 98 blaster. He claims it is in good shape. The extras include a full set of extra stock rims and tires, dg pipe, nerfs, works front shocks, Fresh rebuild bored .50 over, some porting done to it. He said some other little things but i cant remember them. He wants $1200 obo for it. Do you think that is a good deal for that quad and do you think it will keep up with my 300ex and will be pretty good for just screwing around on? Also are blasters pretty reliable quads and are they hard to start?

I think it is a pretty good deal(go there with $1000 cash) it will probrably keep up with the 300ex they are fun to ride around on have good power. they are reliable until you start screwing with them(doing mods) i have found this and my uncle who has had 2 and 4 stroke motorcycles and has had bikes for 20+ years said the same thing about yamaha the other thing to remember is not to screw with the jetting to much i have that problem and it always scews me up
