Will it help or hurt the performance if i take the sparkarester cloth out of the silencer. I have notice 2 other 70cc that now sound much different than mine.

Looking for more ideas.

I can say this.... I have a kymco 50 mongoose.....i know ...you can stop laughing..... i will get my son a DRX at xmas, but anyway i have to do what i can with what we have now......this is what i done.....my son was running his stock exhaust with the baffle out for a while and ran pretty strong and loud. Here is the kicker, i got Gary at G-Force to send me a DRX WORKS pipe. Thanks again Gary! Yes I know Kymco and DRR is not the same, but i made it work and WOW what a difference. It's not only added like a power band in it but made it quieter with a lil bit of some rumble to it. That pipe made a big difference, and he loves the dirtbike sound. I did learn a lesson...louder is not always more power! Just my 2 pennies worth!!

I wouldnt laugh we started with pred 50, no i was just wondering if it would free it up some or would it take away to much back pressure and that seems to be the case.
