I have a 96 banshee and when i start to go sometime itll start to buck (like a manual car will sometimes do when not driven right). But it doesnt slip really any other time and i was wondering if it could be my clutch starting to go or banshees jsut are like that.......also im going to a big track this saturday the 23 and have called everyone i know to work on this quad and get a new clutch put in and just a quick look over and everyone is booked till july, so i was jsut wondering if anyone is a mechanic and can do it real fast for me....im located 07054

Sounds to me like your basket has notched. Basically the fiber plates have worn grooves in your basket, not allowing the plates to move properly.

The only "quick" fix I know of is to dremel the notches down, but in reality your going to need a new basket at least.

Good luck finding someone to get it fixed for ya.
