i have a 2004 400ex and i recenlty bl;ew the top end. i ride mx and offroad. i dont know what to do. i could do a 440ex kit but i dont no how it would do oion and off track. my fourwheeler has jets K&N and racing stuff. motors stock. im on a budget tho. i make 200 a week and have 300 now. i am willing to wate but i want to no what to buy. rememebr i ride hard on and off track. never touch mud or water.what should i do?

engine stock? does that include exhaust?

i would go with a 416, JE 10.5:1 comp piston, stage 2 hotcam, and full exhaust(yosh, hmf, sparks, lrd, etc...but not white bros or fmf)

the engine work without the cam and pipe will cost you probably around $400. add the cam and pipe and your looking at around $950 total.

I did my 416 through colby(site sponsor) and it cost about $300. That included 11:1 JE piston and stage 2 cam and gaskets. Another 40 to bore and hone. Then my exhaust cost about $400 but i did them at seperate times. Do the motor get it built and then get your exhaust.
