Clear Bra on an ATV?

I just bought a new red Grizzly 350. I have plans of applying the 3M clear bra film on the front and side fenders to prevent scratches. Has anyone tried doing this? Am I being too anal?

Google clearguard protection systems.

the clear sticker stuff is never usually a good idea, it peels when you wash, and they always seem to turn yellow and get dirt stuck to them underneath which makes it look like poo. I know it is usually a rule of thumb that when you get a graphics kit that has any part of it clear, to cut it out with scissors before you place it. Might not be true for this stuff, but just my personal experiences.

depending on how porous the plastic is 3M clearguard will most likely not stick to an atv, it's designed to stick to clearcoat. If it did stick; unless your plastics are completely brand new with zero scratches i wouldn't advise using it, it will just make your already existing scratches stand out even more. And as 400exrider707 said it, there is definetly a chance it would peel up.
