Have a 04 yfz and when you start it up it hardly cranks like the battery is dead. Has a new rectifier and stator any help please!!!

i have an 04 also my is the same way i jus plug it into an optimate charger a day before i ride and it is usuly fine a new stator would solve it but thoughs are like 160+ i was considering it though

Sounds like you may have a short or a bad connection maybe....

DrDY ur Y never startes its either at action or the batterys dead man u need to jus sell that ****er an get a new one
