I had my chain come off the other day when i was goin up a jump, it wrapped around my front sprocket and hit my shift shaft which pressed down and broke the case. I ended up nose-diving into the landing and i flipped over the front, it ruined my old bumper my left side case and my shift shaft is bent, i dont know for sure if i can get it perfectly strait so does anyone know where to get one decent priced?

thx

i would get one new, even if you buy a good one used, you never know if its slightly bent. and if it is, it will not sit flush with that oil seal, and it will leak oil. call service honda. good luck man.,

ive pry got one laying around in my Bucket-o-parts somewhere ... Like z06 said ... you never know if its perfectly straight.

But if you want to take a shot at it ill give it away pretty cheap.

Sorry to hear that !! It's a MUST to run a case saver. Good luck .

Had the exact same happen to me. Popped the shaft down through the bottom of the case. Even with a case saver on.

I agree with everyone else.......buy new. If it's a little bit off the cases won't go together.
