Clutch problem

My clutch has showed no signs of failure at all. Today, as I was moving it out of the garage., I had the clutch engaged. All of the sudden my lever goes soft. When I pull the lever, the lever that engages the clutch is moving, but nothing happens. Any ideas what broke?

your cluctch rod is probably not seated properly. your going to have to open up the case and take a look.

Clutch rods don't just unseat themselves, but you will need to open it up to see what happened.
