I've only been there once, but loved it! There is lots of trails, and most are fairly challenging. Some of them get down right crazy though. It's well worth the drive to MP! Check out kentuckyriders.com if you want to find other locals to ride with there.

I know what your sayin. I love how strong my tags are, but they are way too low for my taste. I either need much taller risers or the tallest bars made.. lol.

Look how low they are:

yeah i see that, the bars on the banshee look pretty high and thats what i need. Either that or a +1 sterring stem.

Those bars on his banshee are just regular old $20 moose bars

lol. Believe it or not, for $20, these bars are actually nice. He rolled it once already and they are still straight. I wanted to pick up a set for my 400.

Posted by: Hondamaster5505

Another pic of the moose:

..,

stay away from the cheep stlye bars.

i like cr highs. or renthal banshee bend.(i run those on my ex).

I have those same exact bars on my banshee. I was wondering what brand they are.. now I know.

I wish I could finish up my engine so I can ride her. I need a job being 14 sucks.

Posted by: FoxHondaRider

How are those compared to stock? I wish i had the money for flexx bars. I was leaning towards pro taper or TAG but i have no clue what bend or sweep or degree bars to get. I havent ever ridden anything other than stock so I dont know if something else feels better.

the best bet is to go to a place. that sells all different bends. etc and see which ones you like. i have sent hours in a shop.looking at bars.

Posted by: powermadd400ex

i had pro taper contours raptor bend, on my 250ex.
they sat higher than stock jus cause they were fat bars, overall they were strong bars.
the picture sucks cause i used my phone

Looks like a cool place to ride, got some good air in that one pic

Posted by: red_rider_069

haha thanks..
its ok to ride.. but its a dirtbike track..
really hard to hit ther burms since there so small
but the table top and the double there are easy for me..
and i can keep up with dirtbikes somtimes..

are you sure thats his bike? it looks like a 450 header to me.. a 450 titainium header..
look at the 2nd pic he posted.. and look at his header.. its a regular dual like mine
and in the pic it is single..
not trying to make him look bad.. but its not his pis?!?!
i see that like copy right..

If you acted like you was turning in that, it would look just like you were making a big roost.

that could be his friends 450r for all we kno
but that defintaly isnt a 400ex. its a kicker

Posted by: Speedy 400ex

Ya thats a 450. but that is still way hot!!

Posted by: UNBROKEN

that is lean if that header is glowing that red my old yz400f dirtbike would get that hot and glow when i was holding revving it a 5 grand at night but when its just ideling the pipe should be that far back red

Posted by: Grant Casey

yeah that photo of that header pipe is off my mates 450r he was out riding with me when i was out there................

Posted by: Grant Casey

yea red_rider_69 its not copy righted its just my mates quad he was out riding with me, sorry i should have stated that it was his bike and yeah....

Posted by: FoxHondaRider

yeah i've seen pipes glow but never that much! Dang that 450 had to be running so hot.

Posted by: 400exrapes

theres no way thats normall.. its pink? and white at the tip it looks photoshopped to me.

Posted by: 450rJam

ALOT of the 450r pipe glow (not usually that bad)

but at night it really shows

whats up with all the clowns claiming photo shop ?????

Posted by: 400exrapes

it looks like a barbie doll manufactured head pipe i find it hard to beleive that it can reach that color. in one of the pics where he's actually riding its normal color.

Posted by: 450rJam

when your riding it gets air moving over it, I know its crazy but it does get stupid hot

alot of people put header wrap on it just to keep some of the heat off the motor and off their leg

Posted by: 400exrapes

yeah i guess so but lets see some big air pics i want to see some people

Posted by: 450rJam

my kid making me look bad

(he is 14)

Posted by: 400exrapes

nice i'll resize one of a downhill double at an mx track right now...

Posted by: mak400ex

Dang 14 years old on a 400ex, nice jump.... yeah you did out jump your dad and ya got proof.

Cool father and son shot 450rJam

Posted by: 400exrapes

and another doin the best air i can cause theres no bigger jumps then those two uphill double and downhill 75 foot double

Posted by: mak400ex

WHATS UP 400exrapes,

Hey at least i can see ya in that pic.......lol

nice jump
looks like some good air time,

Posted by: Grant Casey

my photo of my mates header isnt photoshoped,,, it looks heaps red coz it was cumming on dark and that was after he done a big burnout it was really hot.....

Posted by: red_rider_069

neither of those jumps are 75 feet dude.... i95 is like 65 and the downhill is like 60. there are 4 tripples on the bike track 2 of them are easy, 1 is more challenging and the 4th is pretty big.

And thank god your looking for a yamaha

I don't know why the sudden change though. It seems like soon after you did the complete build on your 440ex, that you decided to get a bike.

Posted by: Ruby Soho

because the urge to be competetive i guess.. i went to alot of dirtbike races and rode big bikes for the first time and i just got obbsessed haha

Posted by: 400exrapes

Its crazy what just a few bolt ons will do for a quad. That'll be a quad that will be around for a long time, you can just tell how solid it is, if i had a quad like that i wouldn't put anymore than bolt ons on it because i'd be afraid i'd screw something up.

That IS in Oklahoma. Right at the Texas/Oklahoma border. We were riding on the OK side of the river. The park is just North of Bonham, TX on HWY 78. 25 miles South of Durant, OK. I'm sure we'll be going there again in the coming weeks.

so how did the landing turn out? lol

Posted by: 416HondaEX

The landing went a little long actually. You can't see how much of a run you get coming to the double. You hit a small double and a high burmed left turn and you get about a 50 yard run at this wide open in 3rd with trail tires and 3/4 with MX tires. Just hit it hard and tap the back brakes to settle it flat and it's a smooth landing.

They are Pro Taper SE - high handlebars
height- 6.3/160
pullback- 3.94/100

They fell good in the turns really helps me muscle the quad around - got a lot of leverage when needed.

I originally bought the high bend but didnt like it. I'm running mids now and they seem to feel better for me. Did you cut any off of yours?

Posted by: mak400ex

Nope - no cut, mids would be a great choice, might be my next

getting any distance on ya wheelie ?

Posted by: FoxHondaRider

Here is a really big whoop that I pushed dirt on top of with my foot and I used a stick to sculpt it a bit and I ended up with a step up lol I could only hit in in 2nd gear because there was another whoop that we tried to mellow down but even so any faster than 2nd and you would be jumping straight into the takeoff ramp lol

2nd out of 16 that will work, great job - looks like a lot of fun, i dont race well for now anyways, i like working on them (new builds) and ripping down the trails. we are buliding a track out on my bro's land.... i would just be happy riding it once or twice a month, looks like the rain may have let up for the summer so we can get some work done, keep us posted on ya races.
