I'm going big bore, so my pc 2000 275 powervalve is for sale.
Here is a pic of the motor...

Has around 25 hours and is ported for mid range, set up to run race gas and will include a extra dome for pump gas.

Not a bad Idea, but I think it would leave the skirt paper thin taking it out to around 72mm.

Maybe, maybe not. Those sleeves are pretty thick, my 265 PV is pretty thick too. 72mm would put you right around 295cc.

That PC2000 cylinder use a base spacer plate or the bottom of the cylinder real thick & dont need one.
