looks like it turned out nice. That was prob. alot cheaper than buying new plastic. What kind of paint did you use. PJ1???

no i used krylon fusion....if you look at the last picture on the front end of the nose of the plastic you can see where its ruff like...i got a run there and tryed to wipe it off then sand it but it didnt work so that was the only bad part

great job man but i'm wondering if you scratch it will the original color come back through? cause i would like to try this to mine but not if the scratches will show the original color.keep us posted on how well the paint holds up ,but yeah that looks great.

the only way a scratch will show the original paint is if in that spot you put to much paint at once and created a nice little run and if that happens its scratch like no ones business...so if you spread the coats out evenly the original color will not show

I kinda disagree, I had painted my old plastics on my 300ex with this Krylon Fusion paint (and yes it was an even coat, I'm a painter so I know how to do it) and within a few weeks the paint was chipping off in places. Another thing is to make sure that you clean and ruff the surface before painting or it will just all fall off. But please give your feedback as of how it's holding up!!

Almost forgot, if your starts to peel off in layers the best thing to use to remove it is Tuff-Strip from Crown. You can get it at any Lowes store.

Nice Job! Let me know if you would like some racing decals. I normally make them for 250R's. I am currently doing some carb work on a 350 Banshee and can get the measurements off of it.

Check out this link:

Looks tight!

Is there any Remedie to cure scratched fenders?

My both fenders on 2006 400ex are scratched pretty bad, was wondering if there is any method's?

Or a topic to steer me in the right direction

Thanks!
