My buddy was gonna go riding, on his 2nd Warrior, he's like I want a 500cc quad, TODAY, so he goes and gets one. An Outlaw, Now "I" would hate the IRS but he wanted it.

Dead even with our buds Pretador the 1st year it came out.

2 1/2 weeks later the 3 bolts come out of the rear sprocket and F up all of his sprocked and chain I guess, somehow bent his hubs. The hubs are $400, he's got about $2000 in repair on it in less than 3 weeks warranty covers it all.

But how bout a story like that eh.

Now he says its not fast enough, he rides a Warrior for 4 years, rides this thing for 3 weeks says its not fast enough.

My little story.

Hey man i wasn't picking on your bud, just didn't realize there was that much difference in price . It may have been an early born on date ,as they did have there fare share of problems.

I'VE HAD FRIENDS WITH KTM DIRT BIKES AND THEY HAD NOTHING BUT ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. THE PARTS WERE EXPENSIVE AND TOOK WEEKS TO GET. I HOPE THESE PROBLEMS DONT HAPPEN TO YOUR 525'S. THAT IS WHY I GOT THE 06 500. IT MAY BE A LITTLE SLOWER BUT I WILL MAKE IT FASTER.

That will be extremly hard considering the ktm doesnt just give the outlaw alot more power it makes it alot alot lighter

I have had four strokes since 2000 and have yet to have electrical issues, some of the two strokes I have had, did have electical problems. Repairs were easily made by scotts or any stater place that did coil, or lighting coil rewinds.
