when assembling the clutch do all the plates go in the same shape or is the last one you put in meant to be one turn round?

Their orientation makes no difference, just make sure you start with a fiber and end with a fiber. If you buy the clutch kit from Honda, I've seen some kits have two fibers separated from the other 6. If you have such a kit, those two fibers are slightly thicker and are suppose to be the first/last installed.

They do state in manual that the fibre disc slot in the same basket finger and the last one is turned to the next finger or in between the other fingers
