i'm thinking about picking up a new kfx 450....question though....everytime you put a mod on like an exhaust or put in a cam, because of the fuel injection, do you have to take it to the shop for fuel flow issues? thanks...

you install an efi controller and you can "jet" your efi to whatever mods you do

So do I have to get a pc to take off airbox lid and remove the exhaust core or will the stock efi be able to adjust enough for that?

You can run it, and you will get more power but with the pc3 you will get even more gains with plenty of fuel to keep the engine runnin prestine

spanky101! So i don't have to worry about damaging the engine? I'll be riding mostly higher altitudes. I just thought I could get more gains without spending a lot right away.

Personally man, Id just start saving your money and buy a power commander before any other performance parts. The power commander or another efi tuner keeps everything in check, with you being at higher alitudes im not sure how this will work out with the air being thinner...

i wouldnt recomend taking out the quiet core, i tried it and it didnt run has strong.

Spanky! I was thinking of also getting an exhaust and the kawi comes with titanium head pipe would a slip on be fine or should a guy buy the whole exhaust kit?
