i am looking to mod my 300ex, what is the best spent 300$ worth of parts, im not just looking for engine performance.

E-bay! If you take your time and search through all the "300ex" parts, you can make $300 go along way.

01 raptor rear shock

You might even be able to get both in the parts section on here or even on ebay as cjpoole1 suggested.

Spend your money on performance/suspension first and don't waste your time with items just for looks.

If you do trails, and xc........................skids, especially frame.

My reccomendations are:

1) 400ex carb (can get for about $50).
2) Tether Kill Switch
3) Steering Damper (I like my Denton Stick Damper)
4) And, if you ride in muddy conditions, get a non-slip seat cover.

You could easily get all 4 for $300 and it should improve your ride considerably.
