I just rode an 86 250r and I was impressed. It was all stock except for a ceramic coated paul turner pipe and silencer. I only just rode it out in a field. It has nice power, It is very comfortable, and it handles really nice. It feels very light also. I am looking into buying it from a relative. I am gonna tack it out to ride next week and hopefully I can buy it. The price isn't set on it and i don;t think he knows what is a fair price. If I had to give it an overall rating of condition I would say it is a 7 out of 10. It is also coming with 2 extra cylinders. 1 has paul turner's signature on it from when he ported it. He used to be 25 min from the town I live. Does anyone have a port from paul turner? I don;t know what kind of port job it has

Congrats on your first 250r ride. They're great bikes!! Paul Turner cylinders are not uncommon. You can go to their website and learn a lot about their engine kits.

Usually on the Paul Turner cylinder, it will say "National", "Eliminator", or "High Rev" which tell you what kind of porting it has. I have a Paul Turner "National" cylinder and LOVE it!

i think you might need to look into getting some longer studs on what I assume is a spacer plate motor....

If its a 7 out of 10 I'd say try and grab it for around 3000 bux
The more money you need to but into it that you notice by looking, frame cracks, bushings, brakes, all that, the lower the price goes.
