i was told no from the mod at hmf forum.installed mine and it ran fine.no loss of performance just a hair quieter.dont like the sound...only run it if i absolutely have to.

I put the quiet insert in and the jetting was fine. 170dj main and 42 pilot.

I do not rejet every time I install or remove the quiet core. Waste of time.
