What is a easy way to remove it? or do i have to take the oil holder thing out to make it easy?

Yes. Especially for a stock header, the oil tank has to be moved (or removed). Good time to change the oil, filter, and clean the strainer.

I've never removed the oil tank to get a header off of a 400ex.

Yea me either i just took it off with the tank still there you just have to manuver it around.

Ditto.

Interesting. I was just going by the manual & my experience.

It (stocker) nearly came off, but there is no way in hell that the WB header was going IN with the tank there.

It's a real pain in the ***, just wondering if there was a easier way, id really like to leave the oil tank on if i could too, guess ill have to figure out how to make it easy with it on there tomorrow...

I took off my stock pipe and installed a white bros. alumium pro system without ever removing anything other than the the plastic. Take the sleeve off first then take the head pipes off.

I've never had to remove anything special to take my headpipes off....

The welds inside the header where the flanges are welded on. You will notice a slight differnce but nothing worth bragging about.
