I was looking at getting one of these in the future either that or go the dirt bike route. I know the first years, as with most new quads they had there problems. I was wondering which was the last year they had the problems. Right now I gotta a 400ex and it just doesn't have the power I want. I want something outta the box I can dune with in November and ride trails and some mx comfortably. Probably throw a HMF or a Yoshimura pipe on it once I get it too.

01 had tranny problems...

other than that they are pretty reliable bike...

obviously the newer the better, but as long as you get a 02 or newer that had been taken care of you should be alright...

not the best for mx...
