I was wondering if anybody made or knows how to convert the rear drum brake to a disc brake.

i was wondering if that was possible. it'd be really cool.

why would that be better

Posted by: 07250ex

discs have much better stopping power and the preformance doesnt really fade on discs drums are to squishy =p

its impossible, one the drum brake is in the gear casing with all the gears thats y we have that bulge on the swing arm is not only for the drum and second were are u gonna mount the brake theres no space on the right side and u will haveto cut slots in the axel to hold the disk in place but iwish we had disk brake i hate drum brakes

mines not squishy i have no problem gettin it to lock up or just slow me down

yea i got no problem with the drums either but disk would be way better...... NJK in ur pic is the arctic cat the retro style F7/F6???

Drum brakes wear out very fast, because water and sand etc... get inside them and wear them out.
