what would you guys do spend 225 on a s/p hmf or go with 435 with a full hmf?

For what kind or riding or racing?

s/o the stock pipes are really in my opinion are almost as good as anyother aftermarket. theres no reason to buy a pipe that is 200$+ if you are just going to ride and trail ride even racing the stock pipe is still a great pipe.

just trail riding

if you do your motorwork this summer get the full.. if you think you might not just get the s/o

slip-on is the way to go on the 400ex...unless u r into serious racing or something....there have been tests done in magazines where the slip on actually produced more rideable power than the full pipe...it really depends on what brand u r buying i guess

well, a slipon works better with a stock based engine.

but if you have mods to the engine (such as cam/hi comp piston etc..) the full will do you much better
