Just picked up a new (to me) 400ex

Well, after looking at several quads I finally pulled the plug tonight. I think I got a killer deal too. It's an '03 400ex that is in near mint condition. Really the only flaws on the bike are minor scratches on the plastics.

I paid $3100 and it came with an extra set of wheels and a set of haulers. The guy was the original owner and still had the tool set, owners manual, both keys. The tires are original and they are barely even worn. He says he hardly rode it and I believe him.

congrats, you just go the same kind of deal i did. i found a 04 in just as good of shape for 3500. 2 months of havign it and i love it. treat it good and it wont give you any problems for years to come.

Thanks. You can see in the closeup of the shocks that the tires still have the hair on them and the lugs still have a sharp edge.

I took it to the dunes Sunday and man am I hooked. Going back this weekend.

Looks great nice deal, they are out there I bought my 03 from a guy who bought it new and then got shipped to Iraq, it had an estimated 20hrs on it, looks like less than that. also had nerfs and Tag bars 2700.00 If you keep looking long enough a deal can be found.

i remember when my 400 looked like that... i paid about the same for mine in 02 with a couple more upgrades.

great bike, very reliable with endless options to upgrade. congrats on a great deal.
