I am looking for a CDI to increase the RPMs by 2000 on my 300ex. Anyone know where I can find such a CDI?

I thought the Ricks CDI's were 750 - 1000 rpm over stock. Is this one you have 2000 rpm over stock?

Nobody makes one thats 2000 over stock, they make unlimited rev, 1,000 and 1,500 over. No 2,000. It worked fine on my tc racing engine...

you can send your stock to sparks and they'll increase it to 10,500 rpm.

I am a little leery of having the entire rev limit removed by sending the CDI to sparks. I like knowing I have a little bit of a cushion if I need it in a crash and the throttle sticks wide open for some reason. I do have a tether kill switch but I have seen those stretch and not come off if you don’t get tossed far enough.

well i personally have one of the modded cdi's by sparks and it works GREAT.

no problems whatsoever yet.
