Buddy has question about brake calipers

My buddy has two Rs, one he is trying to get the brakes working on it. He is wondering if a 400ex caliper will line up and fit on the R? Front calipers I might add.

No. You have to either buy and adapter which Im not to sure if you can find anymore or atleast I have no idea who makes them. The second option is just but a set of 400ex spindles of ebay. If you go that route you MAY have to change to 400ex hubs because the R hubs MAY not fit on the EX hubs. Im not sure about the hubs but I am sure about the other things.

just rebuild the front calipers...they are a better caliper than the 400ex is anyways. You can use a 400ex master cylinder.
