ok i have a 1995 yamaha kodiak that is in pretty good shape, only thing is the front and rear drum breaks suck. i have researched on the web and can only find disc conversions for hondas. has anyone done this before. this is what i figure i can do if i can find the parts. the rear hub bolt pattern is 4 on 110. i figure if i could find a rotor with a 4 on 110 bolt patern or find one i can have drilled at a machine shop so it is centered i can do this. put the rotor on the stock hub and add a 2 inch wheel spacer to keep the caliper away from the rim then weld a caliper mount on the axle housing. now the problem is finding a rotor that will work. i have a caliper off a honda 300ex and i can make and weld the bracket but i still need a rotor that will work. anyone done this or know someone that has ??
