I was testing my 89R coil today. The coil primary tested .6 ohms. This is above the (.1-.3) Is this alright?

Now on the secondary, I don't get anything not a trace. I even unscrewed the spark cap & still nothing. Is this possible?
The quad is running. It starts fine. Idles good.

My problem is 1/4 throttle runs bad. Anyways I got a new 38mm airstriker coming. Beacuse the float needle & seat are bad on the stocker. I was just wanting to check my electrical out.

Now, I'm thinking I have a bad Coil. I stil don't understand the secondary coil test of NOTHING

the primary is supposed to be .1 - .3 but every coil of any brand ive tested always seems to be .4 . your secondary should be around 7 k. if it still runs ...maybe your resistor is burnt out and its shooting the gap when you start it.unscrew cap and test just on the end of wire. if you now get a reading ,your resistor may be burnt out.or your not actually touching the inner cap on previous tests.
